IT之家 8 月 30 日消息，谷歌在 2021 年推出了 Pixel 6 和 Pixel 6 Pro两款旗舰手机，同时也推出了一种月付计划，让用户可以分期付款购买手机，并同时获得 YouTube Premium、Google Play Pass 和Google One 等服务的订阅。这种计划被称为 Pixel Pass，价格比单独购买有优惠，但有 24 个月的合约期。
然而，今天谷歌 Pixel Pass 的支持页面进行了更新，表示“从 2023 年 8 月 29 日开始，Pixel Pass不再提供给新购买或续订的 Pixel 用户。”这意味着谷歌已经取消了 Pixel Pass 服务，这对于打算在 10 月份购买 Pixel 8 或 Pixel8 Pro 的用户来说是一个坏消息。
那么，已经订阅了 Pixel Pass 的用户该怎么办呢?谷歌表示，现有的订阅用户可以继续享受服务，直到他们的两年期限结束。期限是从用户收到Pixel Pass 设备开始算起的两年。在期限结束后，用户将无法通过 Pixel Pass 购买新的手机。为了避免其他服务中断，用户还会继续按月支付Google One、YouTube Premium 和 Google Play Pass 的费用，但会有折扣，除非用户主动取消这些服务。
